This information is provided also in accordance with Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, the Data Protection Code, for the guidance of those who interact with our company’s website. The information is only provided with reference to the above website and not for any other websites that the user consults through links. These guidance notes are also based on Recommendation 2/2001, which the European data protection authorities, united in the Working Party formed in accordance with Article 29 of EC Directive 1995/46, adopted on 17 May 2001 in order to establish certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data on line and, in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information with which data controllers must provide users when the latter connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.

After the consultation of this site, data regarding persons that have been or may be identified may be processed. The data controller is Euro3Plast S.p.a. – Viale del Lavoro, 45 – 36021 Ponte di Barbarano (VI).

No information derived from the web service is transmitted or disseminated. The personal data provided by users that make requests to receive informative material (commercial or technical messages, newsletters, etc.) are only used for the purposes stated in the guidance notes in the relative sections of the site and are only transmitted to third parties if necessary for this purpose (for example to third parties’ document sending services).

TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED

Connection data

During their normal operations, the IT systems and software procedures enabling this website to function acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with persons that have already been identified, but which, by its very nature, could in fact enable the users to be identified later by conducting processes and making associations with data held by other parties. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers of the users that connect to the site, the URI addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the dimensions of the file received in answer, the number code stating the status of the server’s reply (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are used purely in order to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and its correct functioning and are erased as soon as they have been processed. The data could be used to ascertain liability in the event of any computer crimes against the site: apart from such a case, at present web contact data do not persist for more than seven days.

Data voluntarily provided by the user

Optional, explicit and voluntary e-mail messages to the addresses that appear in this site entail the site’s subsequently acquiring the sender’s address, which is necessary to answer requests, and any other personal data included in the message. Specific guidance is given or displayed on the web pages dedicated to particular services on request.

COOKIES

No personal cookie information belonging to users is acquired by the site. Cookies are not used to transmit personal information, nor are user tracing systems. The use of session cookies (which are not persistently stored in the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the management of the information necessary to explore the site securely and efficiently. The session cookies used in this site avoid recourse to other software techniques that would be potentially harmful to the privacy of users’ browsing activities and do not allow the personal data identifying the user to be acquired. Persistent cookies may only be used in the event of voluntary optional registration in some sections of the site. These sections draw attention to the utilisation of these cookies and their necessity from the technical point of view and warn users that consent to the processing of their personal data also enables the utilisation of these cookies.

OPTIONAL NATURE OF REQUIREMENT TO PROVIDE DATA

Apart from connection data, users are free to provide the personal data required by the forms on the site or otherwise specified in order to ask to receive informative material or other messages. The information that users have to provide so that we can supply the requested service appears on some forms, together with the parts of the form whose compilation is optional. If indispensable information is not provided, it will not be possible to satisfy the user’s request. For the sake of completeness, please note that in some cases (not contemplated in the day-to-day management of this site), the Data Protection Authority may ask for details and information in accordance with Article 157 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 in order to check compliance with the data processing rules. In this case a response is obligatory, on pain of the payment of an administrative fine.

METHOD OF PROCESSING

Personal data are processed with automated means for the time strictly necessary for the attainment of the purpose for which they have been collected. Special security measures are observed in order to prevent the loss or illicit or incorrect use of the data and unauthorised access to them.

DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS

Data subjects have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence, or non-existence, of their data, to be informed of their content and origin, to check that they are correct and to ask for them to be added to, updated or rectified (Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003). Under the same Article, they have the right to ask for them to be erased or transformed into an anonymous form, blocked if they have been illegally processed and in all circumstances to object, on legitimate grounds, to their being processed. Requests are sent to the data controller at the address specified above or by e-mail to info@euro3plast.com.

Considering that the level of accuracy of the automatic control mechanisms does not at present render them free of errors or malfunctioning, we add that this document, published on website http://www.euro3plast.com , constitutes the site’s Privacy Policy, which will be reviewed in the event of changes to the elements of which it is composed.
