Connection data

During their normal operations, the IT systems and software procedures enabling this website to function acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with persons that have already been identified, but which, by its very nature, could in fact enable the users to be identified later by conducting processes and making associations with data held by other parties. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers of the users that connect to the site, the URI addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the dimensions of the file received in answer, the number code stating the status of the server’s reply (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are used purely in order to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and its correct functioning and are erased as soon as they have been processed. The data could be used to ascertain liability in the event of any computer crimes against the site: apart from such a case, at present web contact data do not persist for more than seven days.

Specific guidance is given or displayed on the web pages dedicated to particular services on request.

These sections draw attention to the utilisation of these cookies and their necessity from the technical point of view and warn users that consent to the processing of their personal data also enables the utilisation of these cookies.

For the sake of completeness, please note that in some cases (not contemplated in the day-to-day management of this site), the Data Protection Authority may ask for details and information in accordance with Article 157 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 in order to check compliance with the data processing rules. In this case a response is obligatory, on pain of the payment of an administrative fine.
