Lacquered pots can be placed outdoors only if they are provided with cover (porches, verandas, loggias, etc.), as direct exposure to the elements could damage them.

Yes. In some articles, on the bottom of the pot, there are also impressions that indicate where to place the drill. If the perforated pot is placed indoors, it must be placed on a saucer. For the outside, instead, simply make sure the surface underneath the pot is not damaged by the draining off of water and soil.

With the exception of the IKON series, you can put plants in the light pots. If so, they must be secured to the ground with our anchorage systems, if any.

Our light pots are easy to install and can be placed both inside and outside, choosing the right light kit for the desired destination.

Double-walled pots consist of a single seamless structure with double watertight walls separated by an air-gap.

Lit items should only be stabilised using the appropriate securing kits. For pots and planters, as an alternative to the kits, it is possible to add fine-grained gravel into the cavity between the pot/planter walls. In any case, we recommend not using water as a weight.

Before putting in the potting soil and plant, we recommend creating a bottom layer of expanded clay covered with a layer of hessian, to ensure water drainage and prevent the roots from absorbing too much. Watering should be done gradually, dosing the amount of wetting to avoid excess and stagnation. Some pots without holes have a water reserve and do not need you to prepare the bottom with expanded clay. The catalogue shows the products with a water reserve.

The pots/planters of the Up and Be Up collections have been designed to be hooked over railings. The maximum width is 4.5 cm for the pot and 5 cm for the planter, respectively.

The pots should be cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge soaked in a neutral detergent.

The lacquered pots are cleaned using soft cloths and mild detergents. In particular, avoid using products containing alcohol as they may dull the colour.

The UP and BE-UP planters have spill-holes that should not be plugged so as to avoid water from stagnating and to ensure the plants' well-being.

It is also useful to add a bottom cover of expanded clay that helps drainage. Better if you also add a sheet of hessian to prevent the dispersion of the soil above it together with the excess water.

The planters of this series do not have water reserve grills.

We recommend always placing the pots/planters with their saucers to allow excess water to drain off correctly, and contain it to create a minimum reserve.

Always check that the support surface of the pots/planters (balcony or pot-holder) is horizontal, to ensure the water evenly distributed.

The pot cover is designed to accommodate the plant already in a pot without having to transplant it. So simply put the plant with its original pot directly into the pot cover. The tray cover also serves as a saucer and water reserve. 

The overflow turrets, found inside pots, planters, etc., allow for excess water to flow out. We recommend adding expanded clay onto the bottom of the pot/planter up to the height of the turrets and, if necessary, also hessian to limit the dispersion of the soil above it along with the excess water.

The holes in the bottom of the pot stop water from stagnating, thus ensuring a healthy environment for the roots of the plant. They also promote ventilation.
