Materika: New Pietra Vecchia and Granito Finishes | euro3plast
Materika: two new stone-effect finishes for Etria Uno, Kube and Simple planters
The Materika collection by euro3plast expands with two new shades inspired by natural stone: Pietra Vecchia and Granito, available for the Etria Uno, Kube and Simple planters.
A surprisingly tactile experience
Materika was born from an idea: to give plastic a tactile quality. The surface of the planters is not uniform, but features a texture whose appearance changes depending on the distance from which it is viewed.
From a distance, the finish enhances the planters’ clean silhouettes and defines the space with character. Up close, it reveals a distinctive texture that invites you to look more closely and experience it by touch.
Pietra Vecchia and Granito are two deep, intense shades that create elegant contrasts and enhance the natural green of plants in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Models available with the Materika finish
The Materika finish is paired with the clean silhouettes of three euro3plast planters:
Etria Uno — single-wall planter 2860, Ø 24 cm (24 × H 20 cm)
Kube — planter 2634, 20 × 20 × H 20 cm
Simple — planter 3063, Ø 30 cm (30 × H 26 cm)
Simple — planter 3060, Ø 40 cm (40 × H 35 cm)
How they are made
Materika planters are manufactured using the rotational moulding process and hand-finished at the euro3plast production facility in Ponte di Barbarano, Vicenza. Rotational moulding makes it possible to create hollow forms with uniform wall thickness and textured surfaces that faithfully reproduce the details of the mould: this is the technology behind Materika’s distinctive tactile effect.
The result combines the appearance of stone with the light weight and impact resistance of polyethylene, making each planter considerably lighter than a similarly sized planter made from natural stone.
All planters in the Materika collection are Made in Italy.
